ADAU1452's electrical characteristic of IOVDD Digital Input voltage
Hello all,
I have a question on the table below.
Here in this table, the IOVDD VIH (min) and VIL(max) are totally same value(1.71V).
In my experience, there always be some uncertain level between VIH min and VIL max.
I just want to ask you the characteristic on the table is really correct and how it occurs.
Best Regards,
Yuta M
Hello Yuta,
I also noticed this as well and I opened up the investigation of this a little while back. We looked at the characterization data to verify the performance and agreed to make the changes in the datasheet. These changes have not been made to the datasheet as of this date but it will be in the next revision. This is what the new table will look like:

Hello Dave,
Thank you so much for your answer.
I have further question on this.
Regardless of the IOVDD voltage, the VIHmin = 0.7xIOVDD, VILmax = 0.3xIOVDD?
(IOVDD has a valid range from 1.71V to 3.63V)
Thank you

Hello Yuta,
Yes, the valid levels will scale with IOVDD so that is the proper way to specify this.

Just in case, let me check it, please.
Is ADAU1462 also same ?
Hello OTI,
At the moment it is shown the same way but will be changing soon. The table will be the same as I have shown for the ADAU1452 above.
