about ADAU1452's grounding

Hello all,
I have a question.
On the datasheet p.176 grounding section, it says as below.
"Place all components in an analog signal path away from digital signals."
Could you tell me what this means?
what exactly is the all components in an analog signal path???
and what is the reason to make them away to each other?
Best Regards,
Yuta M
Hello Yuta,
This means do not run the clocks and serial data close to analog audio paths near a codec. Specifically in this part it also means that you should avoid having the digital clocks and data close to the AUXADC input and the PLL loop filter components, the PVDD and PGND traces. The PLL is an analog circuit, well, part of it is.
