ADAU1977 Evaluation GUI Crash
Hi Sir,
My OS is Win7 Pro 32bits version but I encountered some questions when run ADAU1977 evaluation software GUI.
And I've tried to installed in on three computers but all problems are the same.
This evaluation software crashed when I open it.

Sorry to hear about the installation issue. Unfortunately I have win 7 64 bit version and it works ok but I can send your question to software team for understanding the issue.

There are 2 versions available, one for 32 bit and other for 64 bit. Did you use the correct one for your system?

Under software tab, you have option to download 32 bit version.

If I tried to install 64 bits version, it even can't be installed on computer.

Hello Henry,
For now just try to use SigmaStudio. The ADAU1977 is in the library and it pulls up the same exact interface.
I will ask the software team about this.

The Sigmastudio dll is not tested for ADAU1977 so not sure if it would work. The installer on the product page works on all our PC's with windows 7. I will forward your question to Software team to look at urgently.

I spoke to SW Engg and he is looking into this but since all our Machines here are 64 bit we need to get hands on 32 bit machine to try and understand the issue. This may require time.
Do you have any 64 bit machine? You can try installing 64 bit version in the meantime.

I am facing same issue.
I tried some PC environments as follow.
Windows7 32bit OS -> NG (tried 4 PCs)
Windows7 64bit OS -> OK (tried 3 PCs)
Therefore, I guess that this issue is related to 32bit OS.
And also, it was NG in case of Windows10 64bit OS.
Doesn't this tool support Windows10 yet?

What versions of Windows is the ADAU1977 eval SW actually supporting, please?

Regarding support of ADAU1977 in SigmaStudio, I couldn't find it in the list of processors/ICs.

I was mistaken, I thought that there was a DLL for SigmaStudio for this part but it appears we never created one. Rajeev is the person that knows this part the best.
