Hello, ADI Support Team

I know that ADAU1452 has DM0 and DM1 separately as Data RAM.
Is there any limitation for usage of DM0 and DM1?

And also, can an user assign the memory space (DM0 and DM1) flexibly?

For example, is it possible to assign DM0 or DM1 freely for RAM which is used by DELAY function?

Or is it assigned automatically by SigmaStudio tool? (The user can't assign flexibly?)

Hello TomY,

SigmaStudio automatically assigns the usage of the memory based on the needs of the program. What do you want to do that would require allocating memory differently?

Hi TomY:

The delay module allows users to select the memory for the Delay.

Hello Tom,

You see in the cell there are two buttons to select which memory it uses.

Sorry, I miss-read your first post. I thought you were wanting to control more than just the use of the memory. I thought you wanted to control the actual location within the DM0 and DM1 memory banks. That is chosen by the compiler but you do have the ability to choose which bank.

Thanks,

Dave T
