Anunnaki Question

Hello,

Is it possible to somehow create a digital signal flag in my schematic that would replace a hardware output on my ADAU1442. My goal is to use that software flag and read its state from the DSP's RAM rather than read the hardware pin state. The state that I would read is the output of the signal detection block and i would be able to determine (with multiple of those flags) which of my inputs are receiving any kind of signal.

Thank You in advance.

Hello Filip,

Sorry for the delay in responding.

You can use the multipurpose pins value registers to read a flag from your program. They do not have to go out to an actual hardware pin. Table 68 in the datasheet lists the addresses where you can read the values.
