Hello all,

As I will design the system with APP and MCU to control DSP ADAU1701, and request MCU can real-time to update the DSP parameter to change the Low/High pass Filter(crossover Freq, Gain, Q Factor), EQ, channel delay, channel phase, channel mapping and volume gain for each audio channel. But I can't find any example source code for such function, How can I get the example source code(with C language)?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Neil

Hello Neil,

There is a lot on the forum on this topic. I will put in a few links:

https://ez.analog.com/docs/DOC-10771

https://ez.analog.com/docs/DOC-2632

https://ez.analog.com/thread/49026

https://ez.analog.com/thread/38874

Then there is always the Wiki page for SigmaStudio:

I think you should be able to find what you need to know in these links.

One thing you will run into is that for you to change the EQ parameters you will need to have the coefficients either in memory of the controller or you calculate them at run time. The later is not simple. So the best way to do this is to use a index selectable EQ and have the different EQ curves stored in the DSP. Then all the micro has to do is change the index number and you have the new EQ setting. This will work OK as long as your program is not too large and the number of indexes is not too high. (you will run out of memory) You can find discussions on the forum on this topic as well.

Thanks,
