How can I change the compressor limiter settings via the Aux ADC?

I love the compressor and noise gate blocks in SigmaStudio but I need to change some of their parameters using an external pot by using the AUX ADC. How can I get access to these blocks to pipe-in the pot value? Below is the image of the two blocks I'd like to be able to control parameters with by using an external pot. Like noise gate threshold for example.

Any help appreciated.

Hi Charlie,

Take a look at the attached SigmaStudio file (made for the ADAU1701 eval board) -- It's an example of how you can use the AUX ADC to fake a threshold setting, since that's not normally an externally-controllable parameter.

What's going on here is that the potentiometer is used to adjust the gain of the input signal, which is then fed to the sidechain of a compressor. I subtracted the potentiometer signal from 1 so that the knob turned in a logical fashion for setting the threshold.

Hope this helps!
