Hi all,

I'm still in a stuck mode, trying to understanding the DSP world.

I own a 21489 demo board.

By the Sigma Studio I drawn a schematic and by the CrossCore ES I'm writing C code to control some internal configurations/parameters of the elements/components (simply a serial protocol).

Let's say that the schematic contains a 'DC Input Entry' called DC1 (or a 'SoftClip') with the default value = 1.

I'd like to change this value by C code to value = 2.

How can I achieve that?

Thanks!

Edit: is there documentation of the adi_* functions ??

Hello,

Sorry your question went unanswered for a long time. There are many resources on the forum that talk about how to do this. So how is your project going? I would be glad to explain this further if you still need help.

Can I suggest you post your question on the SigmaStudio for Sharc forum?

Hi Stemmo,

I don't know if the concept is exactly the same within SigmaStudio for SHARC, but with SigmaDSP, this is extremely easy to do.

SigmaStudio exports header files, with addresses of all parameters existing within your SigmaStudio project. Just include these header files in your C project and write to the addresses provided in the .h files.

Hi,

Yes, in this moment I'm using the file exported by SigmaStudio.

As firmware I modified a demo program I found in the repository, using the SigmaStudio for Sharc communication APIs.

In this way I'm able to change the audio parameters receiving simple commands via the serial port.
