Rise Time - Sample by Sample

Hello all,

I would like to measure the rise time of an input signal using the ADAU 1452 but I'm not quite sure how to start.

Basically, I would like to compare one sample to previous and next samples to determine an approximate rise time. The greater the difference, the higher the rise time. Can sigmastudio perform calculations like this?
