configuring the ADAU1962 to tdm8

Hi

I am using the EZ board SC-584 with the Talkthrue code example.

I have tried it out by inputting to the adau1979 with 4 inputs 2 SPORT channels (PRI+SEC) with stereo mode.

and for output I use the adau1962 the same way, also to 4 channels.

I also tried out the code example for the adau1977, via microphones.

Now I would like to acquire data from the adau1979 and the adau1977 and export the output to 8 channels using TDM mode.

What would be the best way to configure the SPORT for outputing the 8 channels?

Can I use the TDM4 mode with the two half's of the SPORT, making it 8 channels?

Or will it have to be configured as TDM8 with one half?
