ADAU145x Superbass
Hi,
working on a 1452 device running at 192kHz. Start pulse is set to Base_FS x 4 and system sampling rate is set to 192kHz. MCLK is 24.576MHz, pre-divider 8 and feedback divider 96. SigmaStudio Version: 3.12.4,1041
As soon as I activate the Superbass algorithm it completely cuts off frequencies lower than x-over.
Intensity and Bass Gain is set to 1 for testing.
If I lower the sampling frequency, the algorithm seems to work well.
Is there a known problem with this algorithm?
EDIT:
The mono and stereo superbass has a different behavior, but both won't work at 192kHz.
best regards,
lasse
Hello Lasse,
I reported it. I will let you know when I hear something about it.

Hello Lasse,
Could you please share the schematic which was used to test the super bass module at 192 KHz sampling rate .
Thanks,
Mazher
Hi Mazher,
I tried to make a project based on EVAL-ADAU1452MINIZ.
Even at 48kHz the super bass algorithem seems to work incorrect.
As far as I understand the implementation, this should not work as a filter, just as an algorithm to ADD harmonic waves from content below x-over, based on the psychoacoustic effect of "missing fundamental"?
If you need any further information please contact me by mail.
But i just realized, the eval board has the same behavior at 48kHz.
