Pack/unpack 32 bit audio

Hi all!

There are blocks in the 3.12 studio with the names unpack 16 bit audio/pack 16 bit audio.

Does anybody knows what is the functionality of those blocks? I didn't find any help written.

Does they introduce a delay? How does they sampling an input?
