Have made a mono amplifier.

Input 0 goes to output through a "Single slew ext vol".

I wish the signal into the input 1 will mute the output.

(this is a signal from another source)

Not attenuate to zero, but a little.

Can not find how I can attenuate the signal just make it higher.

Need a sort inverting FUNCTIONS of the control signal.

Hello Helge,

Use a Signal Subtract to have your Input 2 level reduce the Input 1 gain. One of many possible arrangements is shown below. Here, Source DC1 sets the maximum gain, while Input 2's level subtracts from it. This way, when audio is detected at Input 2, it lowers the Input 1 gain instead of raising it. I have included several additional blocks to provide adjustments you may find useful:

Set Source DC1 for your maximum gain with no signal at Input 2.

Set Gain1 to adjust Input 2's effect on the gain.

HardClip1 allows you to set a minimum gain when Input 2 is driven hard (shown at zero for a complete mute).

Adjust the AvgEnv dynamic block for the desired rise and fall times. If you desire a "hang time" (the muting remains for awhile after Input 2 goes away), increase its Hold setting.

To adjust the Hard Clipper's Low setting, click the blue box at its top. To use "aliases" (which are handy for removing crossovers from your diagrams), right-click any input or output pin.

Best regards,

Bob

Thank you for the answer.

This was very informative.

I get the circuit boards from factory tomorrow, so I thank you for the answer.
