1452eval board as TDM slave?
I'm looking to interface an XMOS AVB endpoint with an adau1452eval board. The goal is to get 8 channels of audio into the dsp from an AVB link. It seems that my only option is to use TDM8 with one of the 2 free serial ports on the adau but I'm not clear on some characteristics of TDM. At this point the XMOS I2S/TDM library only supports using their endpoint as the TDM master so the adau would have to be slave. There are a lot TDM charts in the adau1452 datasheet but I can't find any documentation about configuring the adau as TDM master or slave. Have I overlooked something or is this still not documented?

Hello Warren,
It is a huge datasheet so info can be tough to find sometimes. Look at the Serial Port Configuration Registers. Addresses 0xF200 to 0xF21C. These set just about any configuration of serial audio data communication. Running as a slave is certainly one of them.
In the datasheet you will see an explanation of how to use the ports in the section titled Serial Data Input/Output.
