Hi,

I have created a 3 stages filterilter MATLAB

when I insert the parameters I get a different filter different filter

I tried to verify with another board of cypress there the filter looks the same as matlab

what is the reason, how many precision is possible with the Eval - ADAU1701MINIZ board(how many numbers after the .

an example of one of one of the stages of the filters b[n] an a[n] parameters

1.00000000000000000000

-0.00000000000000022204

-1.00000000000000020000

-1.94525619079764640000

0.94588126573724629000

please your help

Best,

To confirm that you are not getting issues with your implementation / how you enter the coefficients, did you try with lower precision ones?

Remeber the SigmaDSP is 28/56 bit fixed point DSP. Read the documentation.

I have tried too but it should work but what is the minimum precision?

Does the processor takes in to consideration the intern delay?

I can't understand from the datasheet haw many numbers after the point is the precision I understand the precision is 8 numbers(2^-28) or 16 for 56 am I right jaac?

and I am not sure weather it takes in to consideration the internal delay
