Hello,

The new Gain-Output Peak Compressor is a welcome Toolbox addition. Although I've obtained a similar function by subtracting "before" from "after" signals around a standard compressor, this method eats instructions. Thus I was excited to try the new Gain-Output version. However, it won't compile. A simple test project (attached) gives the error shown::

Thus, I'd appreciate some help getting it working.

Best regards,

Bob

Hello Miguel,

Has anyone confirmed this issue and come up with a fix or workaround? Our product is nearing production & we could really use any instructions that moving to a gain-out compressor might free up. The Error.dat file referenced above displays the same message for a large and small version of the signal flow containing the compressor:

Of course, such things are often more complicated than they appear to me. However, since only the line number changes, this suggests that the issue is within the Gain-Out Compressor's assembly code itself. And perhaps it could be fixed by simply adding a NOP instruction in the right place.

Best regards,

Bob

Hi Bob,

We are able to reproduce this issue. As you have already figured out, the issue is with the assembly code itself. This bug will be fixed in the next Beta release.

Thanks,

Venky
