ADAU1701 Limiter issues at 192kHz
Hi,
I have a Sigma Studio project running on ADAU1701, including a limiter which works at 96kHz but there is no output at 192kHz.
Are there restrictions on the Limiter in regards to clock speed?

Hello Jonas,
I tried running the limiter alone at 192K and observed no obvious problems. Depending upon the kind of issues you're experiencing, they could have a few possible causes:
If the issue is timing related (the decay seems faster than expected), make sure all the blocks in your project are actually set for 192K. Also make sure that you have set the Program Length register in HW Config to 4x (256 instructions). For more on sample rates in SigmaDSP, see: FAQ: How do I change the sample rate of my SigmaStudio system?
Are you running close to the instruction limit of 256 at 192K? A few instructions are used for overhead, so going much over 240 instructions may prove problematic. The Sigma100 compiler (used by the -1701, -1940 etc.) does not report resource usage in the Output window, but you can find this info as a text file in your project folder -- see https://ez.analog.com/message/78144#78144
If neither of these help, please post more info about the issue you're having to hopefully pinpoint the problem.
Best regards.
Bob
