Because of potential quantization noise within fixed point DSPs, it is recommended to use either first order or second order sections and therefore you will need to create a number of lower order sections instead of a large IIR, matlab has a function for doing so.

This part does not have a C compiler, usually customers figure out ways to use simple graphical elements and blocks to create functionality that does not exist.

What additional functionality are you trying to do if I may ask.
