ADAU1445 channel invertion
Hi,
I've build a program in Sigma Studio for ADAU1445 with simple input some standard volume sliders, one mux and delay blocks before output. And comparing first 4 output (left channel) to second 4 output (right channel) I have 180 degrees invertion. Do somebody know which block make these invertion?

Hi Jacob
Nothing strikes me as being able to change the phase. You can one invert at you output to backtrack what's the offending block. Is it possible that one of your inputs is inverted?

Miguel
Hi Miguel
I don't understand what You mean "invert at you output to backtrack what's the offending block". Sorry but my english is not on so high level:)
I've already checked that on input side is OK. The split for left and right channel are also fine. What is strange that this invertion is between first 4 channels and last 4 channels so it looks like the MUX will make invertion... It is no matter on which input channel I generate a signal..

Jacob..
I have made a test like this, and I've also have invertion 180 degrees between output 0 and 3 :/
Is it matter of some register settings?
Hello Jacob,
.
Have you tried connecting an internal source as shown here? This would remove the inputs as the possible cause of the inversion, thus making it clear at which end is the inversion taking place.
Best regards,
Bob
Hi,
Thank You Bob and all of You guys. I've tried generate sine and there are still invert. But I've found what is causing this. On the outputs of ADAU I have connected AD1955's and they are configured as 4 times mono left and 4 times mono rihgt. I read from datasheet of AD1955 that Right channels outputs are in reverse polarity. That cause my problem.
Thanks again and sorry for wasting Your time:)

Kuba
No worries, you did not waste anyone's time. Sometimes the community finds the right answer, while other times, it merely serves to eliminate the wrong ones along the way. In either case, that's what we're here for.
