ADSP 21489 - simulation alone possible without Eval kit?
Hello,
We were trying to simulate some setup on SigmaStudio plus ADSP 21489... But no graph changes or anything is displayed on graphs.... I was wondering if SigmatStudio will work only if the Eval kit is also connected or is simulation on the PC alone possible?

Hello Preethy,
SigmaStudio does not simulate the DSP functions so you must have the evaluation board connected to actually run the program. All you can do off-line is to construct the schematic and see if it compiles but you will have to recompile and download it once the hardware is connected.
