ADAU1452 external delay

Hi Sabry,

Unfortunately the current SPI RAM block in SigmaStudio 3.11 (also 3.12 beta and prior) has the following limitations:

1) Only allows for 1 external delay line.

2) The "bytes" in the cell block are increments of 4 bytes, which was not designed to be "runtime selectable"

3) Limited to pointer address space of 16-bits which limits the maximum delay to 65K bytes.

I have read this thread where you explained that it was possible to do it if we implement some C code function.

We don't really need to implement this solution now, if analog devices is willing to change it for a further release of Sigma Studio or help us to implement this setup, it would be really great.

In the other hand, we would like to start the PCB routing, and we have currently included four SPI RAM on the schematic, we can of course use the board without the SPI RAM.

The new revision, 3.15.2 does include a module for multiple channels of external delay.

I have version 4.2 of sigmastudio, but there is no possibility to use multiple channel of external delay . Has this function no longer been implemented?

Hello ENJSimon,

We had some issues with the implementation and the changes because of the Sigma350 parts. I think these have been resolved and the multiple channels of external delay should be back with the next release. You did not mention which processor but I am assuming the 1452. The next release should be out soon.
