Hi,

I want to connect the output of an AUX ADC IN to a "Linear Interpolator" object.

What are the values to write in "Max" and "Min" to cover the full range of the AUX ADC object output?

In other words, does 0V output a 0. and +3V a 1.?

Thank you in advance

and best regards

Hello Tommaso,

FYI, you can post SigmaDSP-related questions directly here: SigmaDSP Processors and SigmaStudio Development Tool

The ADAU1701 datasheet page 36 states: "The SigmaDSP program reads this data as a 1.11 format data-word with a range of 0 to 1.0. This data-word is mapped to the 5.23 format parameter word with the four MSBs and 12 LSBs set to 0. A full-scale code of 255 results in a value of 1.0."

And you are correct, 0V would represent 0 and +3V would represent a 0.99999. It depends on what you are connecting to and the range might not be exactly max or minimum fractinoal 1.11 format.

For example, looking at the EVAL-ADAU1701-MINIZ eval board AUXADC3 input, I see the DSP readback register shows values from 0.001484844 to 0.995117188 (or similar values) reading the AUX_ADC_3 register when I move the pot from zero to max position.

left position (min)

right position (max)
