SigmaStudio limiter block bug
Hi guys,
I think I might have found a little bug in SigmaStudio.
I am using version 3.11.1.
The RMS limiter block can output, apart from the audio signal, the miniting ratio as well as a FLAG when then limiter is acting.
The help file states that the first red pin (middle pin) outputs the ratio, and the second red pin outputs the flag:
this is indeed the case, however, when you mouse over the pins the user receives the wrong information
It states that second red pin outputs the flag and the first red pin (the one in the middle) outputs the ratio.
This can be a cause of ambiguity to the user.
thanks
Dimitris
Hi Dimitris,
You are correct. This appears to be an error on the description/comments for the block, but functionally it still works as documented. This also behaves the same way for SigmaStudio 3.12 beta.
I did a quick test and could see the limiter flag work from the middle pin, although the comment describes that functionality out of pin 3. The Limter Ratio was read properly out of pin 3 (shown below) even though pin2 describes that functionality.
I will notify the SigmaStudio developers about this.
