Evaluating dsp resource usage, and external eq control

Hi

I am running SigmaSudio, with the sharc add on and cross core.

Is there any way for me to evaluate my dsp resource usage without the development board? I am looking to build a very large progect and need to select an appropriate dsp. Also, how do I implement external RAM with the stock Multiap delay block? I want 8 seconds of delay and will need external ram.

Also, is it possible to control the eq blocks via SPI? I would like to be able to adjust the gain and q
