Hi Guys,

Have been busy trying to nail production down on my product so haven't been around much and I'm a little rusty on sigma studio

I have analog and digital inputs is there an auto select block which doesn't require input from the user to select either the analog input or a digital input?

Hi Miguel

I think there would have to be a master slave arrangement, for my application the analog input would be the master as its the more commonly used.

I was hoping that the input hierarchy would let me have both inputs and prioritise the higher tier input but if no signal detected then go to the next available input.

Im running a 1442 in my project and any help on a solution would be great

HI Graeme:

That wiould be a great addition to SigmaStudio. Unfortunately this doesn't exist yet. You will probably have to make it with a combination of signal envelopes and a index selectable switch. What's your vision for when both of the signals are present?

Regards

Miguel

Hi Christopher,

Just had a quick look and it looks nice, can you explain a little how it functions? does one input have priority over the other or is the logic searching back and fourth for a signal?

Hi Chris,

That looks like its going to do the job, I'm only mono on the input so I'm guessing i can just remove one line from each

Hello Graeme,

Analog Digital | Select

--------------------------------------------

< Thresh < Thresh | Analog

< Thresh > Thresh | Digital

> Thresh < Thresh | Analog

> Thresh > Thresh | Analog

In other words analog is the default if neither signal is present, or analog has priority if both signals are present.

Chris

Yes, and reduce the SignalDetectors by one so each has only one input.
