Hi Everybody,

I wonder how can the Bass Algorithm/Dynamic Bass enhancement from other Sigma DSPs can be 'discretely' implemented in 1452 using primitive blocks. ?

Regards,

Dan

Hi Dan:

I believe this algorithm was recently ported to the latest version of SigmaStudio. It should be available for download very soon.

Hi Miguel,

Yes, it's in version 3.11.1 Beta, up on the download site SigmaStudio Graphical Development Tool | Analog Devices right now. I'm happy to see more -1452 algorithms added with each new release. Since Dan needs a phase control for his system, likely he could use the Hilbert Transform for -1452. Alternatively I could make a FIR filter version, although that uses more resources.

Best regards,

Bob

Hi Miguel,

My bad I just realized I still had the 3.10 version. Yes, the 3.11 has the bass though still lacking some blocks from its predecessors. I do hope the final 3.11 version will have mature features than its beta. Thanks!

Hello Bob,

Seems like I have to implement it in the FIR version, no Hilbert T yet in 3.11. I do like your clever design here: https://ez.analog.com/message/153588#153588 for the continuous phase control! Thanks as always!

Dan
