Something wrong with level detector in 1452
Hi,
I find that the level detector in 1452 doesn't work.The module I use is :Level Detectors/Look up Tables->Level Detectors->Single Band->
Direct Read->Single Level Dector. After I compile my project , nothing about the module is generated.I can't find the parameters of it.The version of sigmastudio I use is V11.1.
Thank you,
Alex

Hello Alex,
Are you using the 64-bit or 32-bit version of SigmaStudio? And which version of Windows OS? Perhaps something else in the signal flow is causing problems?
When I try SigmaStudio v3.11.1 64-bit in Windows-7, the Direct Read Single Level Detector seems to work fine for me using the ADAU1452MINIZ eval board. After adding in the level detector to an audio passthru, I can see the Stream Instance 1 x RTA1 in the Compiled Output, and I can also read the "level" DM0 Parameter Name through the capture window.
See attached screenshot and project.

Hi,
Perhaps you would find it easier to use an arrangement like that shown below, which takes advantage of the 145x's log2 function to calculate dB (relative to full-scale) from an envelope detector. Pressing the Read button displays the parameter address in the capture window, making it simple to find the address for your uC to read.
Best regards,
Bob
Hi John,
I use the 32-bit version of SigmaStudio .Are you using the level detector:
Level Detectors/Look up Tables->Level Detectors->Single Band->
Direct Read->Single Level Detector. The level detector under "running average " is OK. But the "Direct Read->Single Level Detector" can't be exported.When I export the system files,I can't find the "Direct Read->Single Level Detector" parameters in the "X_IC_1_PARAM.h". However ,I can find the parameters of the "running average->Single Level Detector" module in hte "X_IC_1_PARAM.h" when using the running average->Single Level Detector" .
Best gegards,
Alex
