Hi all!

After creating and testing a DIY index counter for ADAU1452 (GPIO conditioning for ADAU145x is currently missing in Sigma Studio) I tried to use it in a larger project. Sadly the compilation ended with error:

##### Compile Started: Saturday, July 26, 2014 5:40:01 PM #####

error (14,ONSRiseR2_2): offset value "128" out of range [-127, 127] in module Sigma300OneShotRiseResetAlg2 (515,0)

##### Compile FAILED: 1 errors, 0 warnings #####

I removed some blocks (biquads) from the project and it compiled successfully.

I attach the non-compiling project (test4) and the compiling one (test3). Please advise if you know / find any walk-around to my problem. A ready to use index counter block would be the best one .

Best regards

Marek

Hi Markek:

We recently fixed a but that is very similar to what you are seing. Are you using the most recent version of SigmaStudio (3.11 Beta)?

Thank you

Miguel

Hello Marek and Miguel,

The latest SigmaStudio version 3.11.1 gives the same error when compiling the "bad" project. To work around this, try replacing the circuit inside the fixed_pulse_width hierarchy board with the one shown below:

This circuit performs the same function, yet it manages to avoid the error.

Best regards,

Bob

Thank you for reporting this issue, it has been fixed and will be included in the next SigmaStudio release. For the sake of full disclosure, this same issue can occur with the "DC Blocking" filter cell when data memory usage reaches a certain size (also now fixed).

For binary backward compatibility the old code will remain in a previously saved project, manual update is required to get the fix. See this help topic for more information:
