Hello everybody!

I generated a file with blocks sigmastudio. I wonder if anyone knows how do I get access to the script this file?

Thank you

Ana

Hi Ana,

I have moved this discussion from the Processors and DSP community to the SigmaDSP Processors and SigmaStudio Development Tool community. Please continue the discussion here.

Hi Ana:

SigmaStudio *.dspproj files are binary files and do not contain any user accessible information. This is to protect user proprietary information (and 3rd party information). Can you comment on what you are trying to do?

Hello Miguel,

Thank you for helping!

I'm using the Evaluation Board User Guide UG-032, for developing a project in which I need to generate audio signals and control their frequency and the signal strength using a microcontroller.

I observed that the UG-032 has a SPI interface for communication with the microcontroller, but still do not know how to manage the blocks in the sigma by the microcontroller.

I've one more doubt. I need to generate a warble tone, but there is neither a block ready to build this kind of signal. I liked to know if there is a block that I can get with some logic programming to generate this type of signal?

Thanks again for your help!

Ana

HI Ana:

Using basic blocks such as "sine tone/oscilators" to create simpletones and using those tones con control other tones (so that they warble by simply multiplying them) should be very easy using standard SigmaStudio blocks. Give it a shot and please post your findings here ( engineer zone ), I'm sure you will get lots of contributors for your project. The real question here is: Why do you need a microcontroller at all. If you use the 1701, (that has auxiliary ADCs and GPIO), you shouldn't need a microcontroller for this paticular need.

The blocks contain assembly code and therefore, their instantiation within the DSP is not in the form of block. They simply are memory locations. To understand where memoris get allocated, you need to use; either the output files generated after compilation OR the capture window to visualize assigned addresses. Once you get the allocated address, you can replicate SigmaStudio behaviour using a microcontroller (if it's a must for your project).

What is this project for, if I may ask?

Miguel

Thank you Miguel!

I'm trying to create a warble tone and when I have something, I post here on the forum. Could you tell me if there is any timed mux to select the inputs automatically?

I need to control the system by a microcontroller, because I'd like to make a product that people can to amplify a signal in a touch display.

Regards,

Ana
