Hi Everyone,

I'm using the Stimulus and Probe blocks in simulating the behavior of the ADAU1772. All works fine until I try and split part of the signal with the T Connection 1772 and then after some filters, sum the 2 signals with the Add block. Then, no matter what I do with the filter parameters, the probe plot stays the same. I have tested a schematic with the T Connection and no Add block (just sent each signal to a different output) and the plot changes with a change in filter specification. So it appears to be the Add block causing the problem. Unfortunately I need to simulate the overall filter behavior with multiple signals added together. How do I get the Add block to work with the Stimulus and Probe?

Kind regards
Charles

Hi Charles,

I've moved your question from the Processors and DSP community to the SigmaDSP Processors and SigmaStudio Development Tool where someone here should be able to answer your questions. Please continue this discussion here.

Thanks,

Colin.

Hello Charles,

I fixed the transfer function for the adder on the ADAU1772. This fix should be available on our next beta release.

It will be great if you could provide a sample schematic showing the bug, to compare it and see if it got fixed.

Thanks,

Wilfrido.

Hi Wilfrido,

Thank you for the response. For example, When I run the probe for the schematic attached, with no HPF, the plot is correct. When adding the HPF, and I click the stimulus, the plot stays the same. When will the beta version be available?

Kind regards

Charles

Hi Charles,

I guess you’re expecting something like this.

Let me know.

Hi Wilfrido,

That does look like it could be the response. I just made up an arbitrary schematic for the purpose of showing the problem, so was not sure what it looked like ahead of time, except that it most definitely was not that of the low-pass filter. So the question is, when can I get the new software version please? :-)

Kind regards

Charles
