Possible bug in SigmaStudio 3.10.4
Hello all,
Today I was trying to create hierarchy blocks in SigmaStudio latest 32bit release (using Windows XP).
The problem is this:
- Open an existing design.
- Add a Hiearchy Bboard from the schematic design toolbox
- Right-click on the new item and go to File->Load board.
- Select an existing .dspbrd design.
- After this, the board is correctly added but I loose the mouse cursor over the entire SigmaStudio window.
If (using hotkeys for example) I save the project, close the program and re-open it, all is perfect, the module has been correctly loaded, etc.
This happens consistently in my PC. Can any of you check whether this happens in other machines and if it is a bug, solve it?
Thanks!
Where is the 3.10.4 download? i have been checking daily and the download page is still at 3.10.3
hmmm i still can't find the Timer Coarse Long Time block, I'm guessing that this isn't the .4 build that includes that.
Hello,
Yes, the effect is exactly as you described in the latest 64-bit version under Windows 7. Although the cursor disappears, if you stumble over an element you can still click on it, as shown bellow:
Thus we have a verified bug.
Best regards,
Bob
Thanks, glad that you were able to reproduce the issue. The version I have tested is 32-bit and happens exactly as you describe, you can "hoover" the mouse without seeing the pointer, quite ackward but still usable at least to save the project, close SigmaStudio and re-open it.
Any chance that you fix this in a future version soon?
The version I have was downloaded here (it says 3.10, build 4 in the "About menu")
Hi Graeme,
Yes as ssanchez noted, the release version 3.10 is 3.10.4.
