Dear support team,

I want to know some value of internal node of signal flow by interface write module.

Because , the module is very useful for debugging at ADAU1401.

But I can't found registers in ADAU145x register controls window.

Could you tell me how to read a value of inter face read modules, please?

And real time display module can also read the internal node value.

But this module is made for 28bit data, I think.

ADAU145x can handle 32bit date in internal node.

Could you tell me how to use the module for 32bit data, please?

Best regards,

Takepiro

Hi Takepiro:

All data on the 1452 is 8.24 (32 bit) data and therefore, similar to the way you were reading data for the 1401, you will be able to read data from teh 1452. The one difference is that the 1452 does not have Interface Registers, instead users should simply use regular memory OR (as you mention) the same mechanism as the read-back cell or any of our level detectors.

Please let me know if this answers your questions or if I'm not understanding your question corretly.

Regards

Miguel

Hi Takepiro,

You can use the DSP Readback cell in SigmaStudio to read the signal at any point in the signal flow.

https://wiki.analog.com/resources/tools-software/sigmastudio/toolbox/basicdsp/dspreadback

In a real system, the microcontroller can emulate this function. In order to determine what addresses to read, use the DSP Readback cell in SigmaStudio and watch the Capture Window to see what memory addresses correspond to the readback cell.
