Dear support team,

I want to know the boot time of ADAU1442 in self-boot mode.

10.667ms(PLL Lock Time) + 10ms(wait) + ?ms(EEPROM read) = ?

And I want to know a way to know a timing of end of boot.

pin status or register read?

Could you tell me about them, please?

Best regards,

Takepiro

The table above shows an example of how long the maximum self-boot (SPI) should take place. The worst case is about 89 ms. Of course, if the self-boot EEPROM image is smaller, then the boot time will be shorter.

There is no register or pin that signifies that the self-boot is complete. Probably the easiest way to check if the self-boot is complete is to have a GPIO pin set up as an output and then have it output a flag in the SigmaStudio program. The flag pin will change state when the self-boot completes and the program starts running.
