I'm new on EZ.

I would like to say hello to everyone.

I have one question about SPDIF IN/OUT circuit for ADAU1452.

Is RC network for RCA connector (IEC60958-3 consumer) this same like ADAU1442?

I can't find any description in ADAU1452 datasheet. Schematic diagram for Eval circuit shows only optical interface.

Hi Adam,

The evaluation board for the ADAU1452 only has an optical interface and no RCA coaxial connector. However, I think the ADAU1442 and ADAU1452 share practically the same S/PDIF interface, so the same circuit should work on the ADAU1452 as on the ADAU1442.

Hi Adam,

The circuit on the ADAU1442 eval board can be copied to any S/PDIF input; it is important to provide a 75 ohm load to the incoming signal because the S/PDIF input on the ADAU1442 is hi-z, and AC coupling is necessary for the S/PDIF input. The ADAU1452 has the same requirement.
