Signal detecting auto power on/off

Hi,
I am thinking to design a auto power on/off when there is a presense/absense of audio input signal?
Presense input signal : Power on
Absense input signal (1 min) : Power off
Can any of the GPIO of sigmadsp to be used as the logic to control the power regulator from detecting the input signal?
Hi CK,
If you shut off the power to the DSP, how will you awaken the DSP when audio is present? Am I missing something here?
