patch to fix sigma_tcp read failures

Hi,
I had some issues using sigma_tcp on my arm based system running linux kernel 3.2; SigmaStudio kept reporting read errors. The attached patch fixed my issue; essentially on some systems ioctl can return a positive number on a successful transaction indicating the number of bytes transferred.
