can we use the sigmastudio software in windows 8 ?

Hi Steve,

According to the SigmaStudio wiki, "SigmaStudio is currently compatible with the Windows XP (Service Pack 3), Windows Vista, and Windows 7 operating systems. Windows 8 support development is in progress, but at present, SigmaStudio will not work on Windows 8.". So I'm afraid the answer is, Not yet. Your best bet is to run it on an older computer; anything with a USB 2.0 port will do.

Hi all:

Although Windows 8 is still not supported because of the required compatibility tests, the latest Beta (3.92) version does run on some Windows 8 machines currently available in house. Please give it a try and let us know your results..

Hi Miguel,

Glad to hear that SigmaStudio's latest version can run with Windows 8. I was starting to wonder about available options for when my Win7 laptop (which is already on its second hard drive) finally falls apart.
