Hi,

The ADAU1701 hardware does not contain any sample rate converters and SigmaStudio by itself cannot do sample rate conversion. I believe that you are referring to a paragraph on page 16 of the datasheet that says, "The 8-channel, flexible serial data input/output ports allow glueless interconnection to a variety of ADCs, DACs, general-purpose DSPs, S/PDIF receivers and transmitters, and sample rate converters." This sentence is telling you that the ADAU1701 easily connects to the items on this list, not that these things are included in the ADAU1701. I apologize for any confusion.

If you are looking for a stand-alone sample rate converter, please look at the AD1896:

www.analog.com/ad1896

Or for a SigmaDSP with onboard sample rate converters, please check out the ADAU1442:

Best regards,

Coleman

Depending on the application you might also find the ADAU1772 and ADAU1373 of interest since they also have ASRCs built in. Although these will not be as flexible as some of the more standard SigmaDsp parts.
