Hello,

I'm currently using the ADAU1772 evaluation board and I'm able to create a basic noise cancellation headset using SigmaStudio. I'm new to this part and DSPs in general and I'm wondering that an effective way is to tune the noise cancellation effect. For instance, if I have external noise at 300Hz how do I tune to improve cancelling at that frequency?

I'd like to use the eval board as a research tool for cancelling out specific frequencies and learning how cancellation changes as frequency increases.

Thanks

Craig

Hi Craig,

Unfortunately, we are not ANC experts and don't have experience tuning noise canceling systems, so I can't really help you there. We can help with questions regarding hardware implementation, though.

Another ADI applications engineer, BrettG, posted some fundamental information regarding ANC and the ADAU1772 that could be of some use to you.
