Hi Piero,

SigmaDSP can't do the frequency-domain processing that's at the heart of compression algorithms like MP3. Thus, there isn't anything in the toolbox for coding or decoding audio.

Hi Bob,

I had read here on the forum regarding this problem, a post of a person that had found a solution.

I don't succeed in finding this post anymore.

You that you follow by chance a lot the forum you remember yourself something?

Thanks

Piero

Hi Piero,

Sorry I have not seen any such post, nor could I find any by search. Of all the SigmaDSPs, the ADAU1452 would be the most likely to accomplish perceptual audio coding (since it does block processing). As gas as I know, this has not yet happened.

Best regards,

Bob
