Hi there, how are you?

I'd like to know why sometimes (doesn't always happen) the output makes a pop noise when I read data from ADAU1701's register? It happens both using Sigma Studio and using microcontroller... In my application there's a moment that I must read from the DSP the gain value, apply a certain attenuation and then write it back. But this pop noise really can't be there. Is there a fix for that?

Thanks!

Hi Nando.One,

Could you please provide a step-by-step method of reproducing the problem? Once we can get the same result on our system, it will be easier to debug.

Thanks,

Brett

Hi Brett! So sorry I didn't get back on this thread. I solved the problem in a different way... I kept the gain stored and always updated for the microcontroller so it wouldn't have to read it back. The pop noise occured occasionally, even using SigmaStudio, so I figured it wouldn't have a solution, at least not an easy one, so I found another way around it

Thanks a lot!
