Well... Guyz, soon I will solder my very first board, just since this sort of soldering is something new for me, I know that there are many pastes existing. Could you please advise me paste, which is easy do buy and which is the best for MSOP AD ICs?

If this topic is not in a right forum tree, could moderators please move to the correct section?

Hi Skfir,

Well, there's no forum community on EngineerZone that would be any better suited to this question, so I think we can leave it here for now, even though nobody has responded. I am not familiar with solder pastes, but I have pinged a few people and I will let you know if I get a response.

Our lab technician, who hand-assembles many of our prototype boards and has quite a lot of experience with board assembly, recommended the following:

Solder paste:

EFD part number 7024410

Sn 96 / Ag 3.0 / Cu 0.5

Flux:

RMA-D200
