Guyz just thinking of powering it from a battery, could you please advise me, how much current in mA does the board "eat"?
Just forgot to clarify, the onboard 2W amplifier is switched off.

My eval board measures 110 mA at 5 volts, without the USBi and with the 2W amplifier quiescent and its outputs unconnected. I suspect that the 'official" spec, allowing for component variations, would be a bit higher.
