I would like to use the ADAU1701 for processing ultrasound.

From the graphs in the datasheet, I read that the analog bandwidth is about 22kHz at 48kHz sample rate.

Does this mean that the bandwidth will quadruple to 88kHz at 192kSps?

Can I overclock the chip to push the limits even further?

Hi Joost,

Sorry for the late reply. I was out of the office frequently over the past several weeks.

You are correct. The bandwidth of the converters in the ADAU1701 will increase automatically when the DSP frame rate setting (i.e. sample rate setting) is increased. However, there is no way to overclock the SigmaDSP to work with rates higher than 192 kHz.
