Controle externo no dsp sigma

Boa tarde

Eu comprei um kit da analog device o EVAL-ADAU144XEBZ REV C e fiz alguns programas nele funciona muito bem.O meu problema esta na hora de fazer o controle externo. eu quero fazer o programa e gravar no dsp e controlar o processamento por um microcontrolador arm cortex m3. gostaria de saber quais os passo ou seja o que eu devo fazer para controlar o processamento atraves de um microcontrolador arm nem que seja um programa bem basico como só aumentar ou diminuir o volome.
