USB Driver for ADUSB2Z not working
Hello,
I have a EVAL-ADAU144XEBZ board that uses the EVAL-ADUSB2Z interface.
I cannot get the usb driver to work on a Windows 7-64 bit machine.
The driver was installed via the SigmaStudio (At least I believe it was).
When the eval board is connected the device manager on the pc tells me the driver is from Microsoft and not from Analog Devices.
Is there a download location to get the USB driver for this interface?
Any other helpful hints will be appreicated.
Thank you,
Richard Reisbick
Hi Richard,
What version of SigmaStudio are you using? You can find the usbi driver on your local machine at this location
C:\Program Files\Analog Devices\SigmaStudio 3.X\USB drivers
It may be worth checking device manager to see if the usbi is showing up there, uninstalling it and then reinstalling it.
Best Rgds,
Alan
I was able to get the driver to now use the USBi files however the interface still shows that the driver is not working.
I am using SigmaStudio 3.5 64-bit version and the driver files in the directory you listed.
The USBi driver is version 3.4.2.147 dated 2/2/2010
I have uninstalled/restarted/reinstalled/restarted the computer several times without success.
I also have a ADSP-BF592-EZLITE board that will not work either.
Thanks,
Richard Reisbick
Hi Richard,
When you say the interface shows it's not working does the USBI show up as red in SigmaStudio? Can you try plugging the USBI into a different USB port?
Best Rgds,
Alan
By "not working" I mean in Windows Device Manager it shows up as not working.
It also shows up red in SigmaStudio.
I have tried it on every USB port on the computer and on a hub attached to the computer.
Richard
Hi Richard,
I will contact you by email about a replacement.
Best Rgds,
Alan
