Dear Brett,

I have one trouble in using ADAU1701:

I build one project which the program size is large(953 words, ADAU1701 maxmium is 1024 words),

the project compiled and download to DSP succesfully. After that, I want to burn the

data to the eeprom, the "Write Latest Compilation to EEPROM" action has done, the I

click the "Check Last Compilatin vs EEPROM", normally, it should be have one pop window

appear(just like "READ/WRITE SUCCESFULLY"). but I can not find any pop window and any

information.

Note: I using the other project file which the program size is small then have no problem.

Your kindly support is great thankful!

Best Regards

Hello,

The "Check Compilation vs EEPROM" function appears to be having some issues. I think you should avoid using it for now and we will investigate.

Please refer to this thread for details about generating custom EEPROM images: https://ez.analog.com/message/5759#5759

Dear BrettG,

Thank you for your reply!

Even though the Method 2 in your description, thers is no verify feature

also in WinE2PromLoader.

We can not confirm if download the program data to eeprom successful or not

by using USBi.

Hello Rongnan,

That's correct. Unfortunately there will be no way to verify that the EEPROM was written correctly until we do a re-write of this feature and completely update the EEPROM interface window. I apologize, but for the moment, the USBi is unable to verify correct EEPROM programming.

If you are able to readback the EEPROM using another interface device (for example, an EEPROM programmer), the contents of the EEPROM should match the exported EEPROM(ascii) (*.hex) file that is generated using the sequencer window.

Hello, BrettG

Thank you for your kindly support and I understand current status.

Now we will use the EEPROM programmer to assure the correct program for MP.

Hope the update Sigma Studio version about this feature comes on soon.

Best Regards
