Hi all,

Is there a way to build a "cheap" signal indication? I have 14 inputs and want to check if there is signal or not (e.g. to drive a signal LED). I want it to be cheap with respect to MIPS and i2c communication. Currently, I've been using Level Detectors but they quiet MIPS consuming and need quiet some communication. Thanks in advance!

Best regards,

Guy

HI guy:

How about simply using a simple RMS detector that feeds one of the built in GPIOs?

That's as simple as I can think of.

Where do you need this information

Hi Guytaar,

I was pulled into several high-priority, time-critical projects at work over the past few weeks and unfortunately I had to de-prioritize my participation in the forum as a result. So, I apologize for making you wait so long for an answer. I am going to try to respond to everybody's questions within the next few days.

You're in luck! I showed a very detailed example of this (including the SigmaStudio project) in this post:
