Presets and MUX controlled by GPIO
Hey,
I want to change my presets over a switch from my GPIO-board. Is that possible?
If not is it possible to control a MUX with a switch from my GPIO-board?
Im using the 1442 eval board.
regards
christian
Hi Christian,
Please take a look at AN-951, an application note that describes various uses of the GPIO pins in SigmaStudio:

I think the example called "PUSH-BUTTON-CONTROLLED DEMULTIPLEXER" on page 11 would accomplish what you're trying to do. You would just use a multiplexer instead of a de-multiplexer.
Thanks for the answer.
I already found that and realized my design with the help of a MUX, after posting this message.
The problem is that I have to build my audioflow 3 times when I need 3 presets and when I use things like delay I get problems with my limited RAM.
Is it possible to control the A,B,C,D presets (Version 3.5.3) or something similar over the GPIO?
The ability to have presets stored in the chip is, of course, limited by the available RAM. However, there are a few ways to minimize memory usage when doing this. Instead of building three completely separate flows, one for each preset, and selecting them with a multiplexer, you could use some index-selectable cells instead. For example, we have some filters that are index selectable, and this would allow you to save multiple banks of parameters in RAM while only storing one set of filters in program RAM.
Here are a few examples of filters and volume controls with GPIO controllable input.
