Hi,

When I use Sources->Chime->Modulated Frequency and Gain->Continuous Play->Chime Freq-Gain block, I get a "Index out of bounds" error. See attached PNG file.

I am using ADAU1701.

However, I do not get this error when I use Sources->Chime->Modulated Frequency and Gain->Chime Freq-Gain block.

Is this an error in the Continuous Play Chime block, or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks,

Shyam.

Thanks for reporting this bug. I was able to reproduce it. I will report it to the SigmaStudio bug tracker.

Shyam,

This was a mistake on our side. The chime algorithm has two versions, one with repetition and one without. The continuous, repeating version, requires that the core writes back to the coefficient memory. This is not possible on older DSP cores, like the ADAU1701. So, the continuous chime will not work on the ADAU1701, even though it was accidentally included in the ADAU1701's algorithm toolbox. We will remove it ASAP.

There is a way to work around this issue, but it requires some extra program cycles.
